Bird Key Yacht Club | Sarasota, FL

Set along the picturesque shores of Sarasota Bay, Bird Key Yacht Club has embarked upon  a transformative new chapter, reimagining its historic waterfront property as a premier private club destination. Established in 1960, the club has long been a cornerstone of Sarasota’s boating and social community. Bird Key will introduce a new 21,500-square-foot clubhouse designed to elevate the member experience through exceptional dining, recreation, fitness, and social amenities. Scheduled to welcome members in 2027, the project represents a significant investment in the club’s future while honoring its longstanding maritime heritage.

Designed in collaboration with Sarasota-based DSDG Architects, Fitness Design Group set its focus on the new clubhouse and its thoughtfully curated collection of lifestyle amenities. Complementing the club’s marina, tennis courts, resort-style pool, and recreational programming, the fitness environment will support a more comprehensive approach to member wellness, active aging, and lifelong vitality. A highly functional wellness experience that serves the evolving needs of a multigenerational membership and reinforces the club’s commitment to exceptional member experiences.
